Which Fujairah schools have places for your children?
A place is not something a school has in general. It exists for one year group, at one campus, for one intake. Two children in the same family can get two different answers from the same school on the same day.
School websites cannot tell you this. Availability changes when a family leaves, when a contract ends, or when a new year group opens. That is why we ask schools directly instead of publishing a number that would be out of date by the time you read it.

Choosing where to live in Fujairah
We do not rank areas. These are the questions that decide whether a school works day to day.
Fujairah city and Dibba
Almost all private schooling sits in or near Fujairah city, with Dibba serving the north of the emirate. Families generally live within a short drive of the school they choose.
The mountain road to Dubai
Roughly ninety minutes to Dubai in good conditions. It is a weekly or occasional journey, not a school run.
Housing is inexpensive and space is plentiful
Villas and larger apartments are within reach at costs that would be impossible on the west coast.
One school can mean one answer
With very few campuses, an unavailable year group has no easy alternative. Ask about waiting lists early and keep in contact.

How schooling works in Fujairah
Private schools in Fujairah operate under the UAE Ministry of Education framework. Supply is limited, so the practical question is less which school and more which school has a place in your child's year group.
A small market changes the search
Where Dubai families compare a dozen options, Fujairah families are usually choosing between a few. That makes timing, waiting-list position and honest conversations with admissions offices far more valuable than league-table thinking.
It also makes sibling placement a real risk. Ask about it explicitly rather than assuming children will be kept together.
Curriculum availability
British and Indian curricula are the mainstays, with American programmes present. Full IB provision is limited.
If your child is mid-way through a curriculum that is not offered here, ask early how the school would place them and what they would repeat or skip.
Life on the east coast
Fujairah is quiet, mountainous and coastal, with a much smaller expatriate community than Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Families who like that describe it as the easiest place in the UAE to raise young children.
Specialist services, including some learning-support provision, are thinner than on the west coast. Ask about capacity case by case.
