Disclosure

Trust is the foundation of family decisions, so we publish how we make money, how we keep our shortlists honest, and how we handle conflicts.

Effective: 12 May 2026Version: 1.0

1. Our business model

InternationalSchools.org is operated by ICPLeads, Inc. and is free of charge for families. We are funded by referral fees that some partner schools pay us when a family we have introduced becomes a qualified enquiry or enrolled student. Where a referral fee applies, the school — not the family — pays it.

2. What we mean by "qualified introduction"

A qualified introduction occurs when (a) a family submits a profile through our form, (b) the family explicitly opts in to school introductions, (c) we include a particular school on the curated shortlist we send the family, and (d) the school confirms the introduction matches its stated admissions criteria.

3. Editorial independence

Shortlists are based on the family's stated preferences and our independent judgement of educational fit. Whether a school pays us a referral fee does not determine whether it appears on a shortlist. Schools that we believe are not a good fit are not included, regardless of any commercial relationship.

4. Selectivity

We are family-first by design and only work with a curated set of international schools. Schools apply to join our partner network and are reviewed by our team — see For schools. Inclusion as a partner does not guarantee inclusion on any specific family's shortlist.

5. Advertising

We promote our service through online channels, including Google Ads. When you visit our site from an ad and grant the relevant cookie consent, advertising and conversion-measurement cookies may be set as described in our Cookies & Tracking page. We do not sell or share family contact details with advertisers, and partner-school introductions remain governed by your explicit opt-in on our form.

6. School and curriculum names

References to specific schools, curricula (such as IB, IGCSE, A-Levels, AP, or national curricula), or accreditation bodies are descriptive. They do not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those entities unless we explicitly say so.

7. Who reviews shortlists

Shortlists are reviewed by real members of our advisory team before they are sent. We do not publish algorithmic rankings of schools, and we do not generate shortlists by automated processing alone.

8. Conflicts of interest

Where any team member has a personal or financial relationship with a school under consideration for a family, we recuse them from that family's review. Concerns about a potential conflict can be reported confidentially to legal@internationalschools.org.

9. Updates to this Disclosure

We will update this page if our funding model or relationships change in a material way. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
