Acceptable Use Policy
This policy supplements our Terms of Use and explains the conduct we expect from everyone who uses InternationalSchools.org.
1. Purpose
InternationalSchools.org exists to help real families make calm, well-informed decisions about international schooling, and to connect them with schools that genuinely fit. This policy protects families, partner schools, and the integrity of the Service.
2. Authentic, authorised submissions only
- You must submit only your own family's information, or information about a child you are authorised to represent.
- All information must be true, accurate, current, and complete.
- Do not submit duplicate enquiries, automated form fills, or test data.
- Do not impersonate another person, school, organisation, or our staff.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Engage in fraud, deceptive practices, money laundering, or any unlawful activity.
- Send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited commercial communications.
- Harvest, scrape, mirror, frame, or systematically copy content, contact details, or data from the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or trade secrets.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code intended to harm or interfere with the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security measure without our prior written authorisation.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
- Misrepresent your relationship with any school, organisation, or person.
4. Security testing
We welcome responsible disclosure of security issues. Please email legal@internationalschools.org with details before performing any testing that could affect the availability or integrity of the Service. Do not access or modify data that does not belong to you.
5. Enforcement
We may, in our sole discretion and without notice, remove submissions, suspend or terminate access, withhold introductions, and report activity to schools, advertising platforms, or law-enforcement and regulatory authorities where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached. We may also pursue any other remedy available under the Terms of Use or applicable law.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is misusing the Service, please contact legal@internationalschools.org with the details and any supporting information. We treat reports confidentially.
