FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions families ask most before sharing their profile with us. Don't see yours? Get in touch.

Is the service really free for families?+

Yes. There is no fee, no account, and no credit card. Partner schools support our work, but the shortlist we build for your family is based on fit — not who pays us.

How do you make money, then?+

A small, curated group of international schools pay us when we introduce families who have given consent. We only recommend a partner school when it genuinely belongs on your shortlist — and we recommend non-partner schools just as freely.

How long does it take to get a shortlist?+

Within 2 business days a real specialist reviews your family profile and emails a personalised shortlist of suitable international schools.

Who actually reviews my profile?+

A real person on our team — never an algorithm alone. We read every family profile and ask the questions a thoughtful friend with school knowledge would ask before suggesting any school.

Which destinations and curricula do you cover?+

We cover IB, British, American, boarding, bilingual and international preschools, with deep coverage of Dubai, Singapore, Switzerland, London, Portugal, Spain, Bangkok, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. We also help with other destinations on request.

Who reaches out to me, and when?+

Only the schools you explicitly approve on your shortlist will receive your details and contact you about admissions. You stay in control of who reaches out.

What happens to my data?+

Your information is only used to build your shortlist and, with your consent, to introduce you to the schools you approve. We do not sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, including your GDPR and CCPA rights.

Can I exercise my GDPR or CCPA rights?+

Yes. EU/UK residents have the full set of GDPR rights, and California residents have CCPA rights including the right to opt out of any sharing. You can submit a request from our Privacy request page.

What if I'm just researching and not ready to enrol?+

That's fine. Many families come to us 6–12 months before a move. Tell us your situation honestly and we'll calibrate the shortlist to where you are in the process.

Can I change my shortlist after I receive it?+

Yes. If something doesn't fit — budget, location, age group, support needs — tell us and we'll refine. The goal is a small shortlist that genuinely belongs on your list, not a long catalogue.

What if my timeline or destination changes?+

Let us know. We can re-review your profile and update your shortlist for a new city, a new term, or a revised budget at any point.

How do I get started?+

Tell us about your child — age, destination, school preferences, timeline, and any learning support needs. It takes around 2 minutes. A real specialist will review and email your shortlist within 2 business days.
